Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

# v. Z( M$ Q" V1 r- E+ IWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

% P7 ^2 Z* s1 @, m% j8 aThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
' T# T* H; \7 y$ Q6 T; O5 q$ f Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
6 n3 U# o  J  s+ ^1 i8 p& N0 j  N Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
. F5 z  j# ]) \- f4 U Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
0 M2 P1 K" {3 z6 C+ N Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
& B3 e5 g9 q- |- C$ e5 K Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
3 u1 D4 |$ i4 X9 f; Y; N5 { An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
