Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

1 b1 x' D. [* p7 RWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

: y; F4 Q% N! I7 oThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
' M4 N$ {7 U- m& o& w7 q4 [ Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
! O* I1 x% i) r. a2 s Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
' g4 U7 r0 @3 A( @: v/ o( [ Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
, u. D4 I* b, K" S5 K+ \* j An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
