Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

9 ?) V* Z& B; i# p8 WThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- S; A. f) }1 U! D4 F6 V$ b- ^1 a Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
$ X& J# ~7 A* E, j2 Q Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
$ R9 @9 r6 ^: p Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
' \1 B9 r; Q) @+ V- L Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
5 t$ `' Q( c7 V' K5 O Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
