•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages
7 C/ z$ b) R: g7 o r8 u* {' |•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
. t( t. d0 N: S/ ~% w( j•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages+ g7 F, y% h' C+ o) g7 A0 p( d
•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work # _) i2 H2 M3 _# V+ `7 |
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
5 X' F, Y; ]9 i•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships( v g2 y+ m2 F! z9 F
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
- c9 b- q# q V1 S5 u. I: L' \•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator$ M# ^; R2 D2 L' z, K5 O, W
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
