Responsibilities
/ u$ w& ^+ ~0 @+ K! ?- m•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages+ n$ H/ M& _; [, w5 z# ^- ]8 W
•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
5 ^# y3 i( ^4 u X) x1 y; {•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
$ G$ X8 w$ v* X9 h$ w•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work 2 z+ L+ T1 p2 T' `" O6 h" |
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
9 p$ f% p! l( B Q•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships
1 X$ C+ f8 }) k! H- _% a" v' [7 F# n•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
# w0 g- Y$ W" |! l A# j0 T4 J•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator4 O) ~ e. K4 `6 x1 s" m7 i
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
