• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

- m; f/ U" I' X• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

& F3 Z& i+ s. P6 M• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

% p6 r9 U* @6 ]2 [: v• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

; a  ?/ I4 L+ f/ U3 M• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

4 Z4 J: q( v; s, @1 x• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

4 l) ?! N% U8 N0 u, X4 @& X• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

4 K- @4 h7 Q  e9 z. W0 U• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.

• Shift work, overtime, and 24 hour on-call support may be required on a regular rotational basis.

• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

- p: A6 ]  E; w' U• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Comments:           

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

0 h0 A0 l- F- |0 T9 V; l  \% C-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
