Lighting of the High Level Bridge

Time: 11pm
Watch history being made as 55,000 LED lights are turned on for the first time. Head to your favourite river valley viewing site (such as Ezio Faraone Park, TELUS Field, River Valley Road, Saskatchewan Drive, the Legislature grounds) and see what a community can do to make life a little brighter. Tune in to CKUA on your radio or smartphone, then listen, watch and enjoy as the bridge lights are synchronized to an Edmonton Symphony Orchestra performance of O Canada!

Canada Day Fireworks Finale

Time: 11pm
Enjoy the magnificent fireworks display over Edmonton’s river valley parks and the North Saskatchewan River.

Canada Day at City Hall

Time: 1-4pm
Show off your Canadian pride by celebrating our nation's birthday with free Canada Day activities at City Hall.  Enjoy live music and dancing, kids' crafts by The Works Art & Design Festival, cultural performances, City Hall tours, displays and much more.  A Canada Day ceremony will take place at 1pm in the City Room.

Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo

Time:  11am-4pm
Cost:  Regular Admission
Celebrate Canada Day and the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s 55th birthday!  Visit the Canadian animals, make a craft, eat a red and white cupcake, and enjoy a wonderful mix of family activities and entertainment.

Canada Day at the Muttart Conservatory

Time:  Noon-4pm
Cost:  Regular Admission
Celebrate our nation’s birthday with a visit to the Muttart Conservatory. Enjoy live music, Canada Day crafts and face painting fun. Treats and fun activities will be available throughout the day – a fun event for the whole family!

Dominion Day at Fort Edmonton Park

Time:  10am-6pm
Celebrate the 147th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada. Witness new Canadians take the Oath of Citizenship, visit the War of 1812 Parks Canada Travelling Exhibit and bask in the excellence of being Canadian – eh! Music, games, and historical vignettes will add to the ambiance of the park throughout the day. Avoid the line ups; visit  Fort Edmonton Park to buy your tickets online.

Cool Off on Canada Day

Spend time soaking up the summer at a City of Edmonton outdoor pool or visit a recreation centre. Regular admission rates apply. For holiday hours, visit Recreation Centres. Or splash away the day at one of the City’s free Water Play Features (spray parks).

The Works Art & Design Festival at City Hall

Time:  1-4pm
Join The Works Art & Design Festival at City Hall for a free kids' crafts workshop.

Mill Woods Celebrates Canada Day

Time:  1-11pm
Come to Mill Woods Park (66 St. & 23 Ave.) and join in on the free family activities including hay rides, a petting zoo, carnival games, bouncy castles and an inflatable obstacle course, live music and more! Fireworks display takes place at 11pm. For road closure details, visit Road and Traffic updates.

Canada Day Events in Boyle McCauley

Celebrate Canada Day in the heart of downtown Edmonton with two free events:

Boyle Street Community League BBQ
Time: Noon-4pm
Come to the Boyle Street Plaza (9538-103A Ave.) for a free BBQ celebration. Halal food will be available.

Time: 5-10pm
Celebrate Canada Day on Harbin Road (in front of the Chinatown Multicultural Centre (9540-102 Ave.) with traditional entertainment, arts and gift sales and food trucks. (Please note that 102 Ave. will be closed to vehicles between 95 St. and 96 St. during this time.)

Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature

Time: 10am-10pm
Celebrate our nation’s birthday at the Alberta Legislature with live entertainment and a variety of free family activities.

Celebrate Canada Day at the Art Gallery of Alberta

Time: 11am-5pm
There's fun for the whole family at the Art Gallery of Alberta this Canada Day. FREE admission. Bring the whole family for art activities, a BBQ and a chance to view some exciting exhibitions. Last admission will be at 4:30pm.

查Canada day strathcona county, 每年有很多类似嘉年华的活动，free,大孩小孩的活动都有,骑马车，赛狗，参加坦克之类，早上到11点半还有pancake。停车位置紧张。
