6 M; ^# K. c7 Q5 I( H7 ?$ ENow I think I get it clear: To change name before applying citizenship, we need to go through Registry (pay 250CAN, waiting for 6-8 )first, and submit the Name Changing Certificate to CIC for citizenship. (Passport and PR card can not be changed. )( b. L9 c& o" O! V: Y) \: Q
8 S; t" p! P# K/ c, T8 a- ^! }' S# XSome may have different experience with whether Name Changing Certificate is needed for citizenship. I guess that may depend on the processing officer at CIC. One may be generous or careless, so it also works without that certificate./ L, b0 f( d- A5 C$ Y
