/ I" Z3 ?6 p U. cNow I think I get it clear: To change name before applying citizenship, we need to go through Registry (pay 250CAN, waiting for 6-8 )first, and submit the Name Changing Certificate to CIC for citizenship. (Passport and PR card can not be changed. )

1 j4 `9 @: L R4 B+ ^$ r' a6 fSome may have different experience with whether Name Changing Certificate is needed for citizenship. I guess that may depend on the processing officer at CIC. One may be generous or careless, so it also works without that certificate./ u1 T% m6 V, g
