Really want to save some gas money you may have to check the followings:
+ f  E, W! [( I* Z1. The thermostat settings. Set the temperature as low as you still feel ok. say 16 degree?
9 ?/ q7 k% f* k! q* n8 P% k6 G- F! ~2. Close the vents near the entrance door and garage door, vents in the bathrooms.  
- c- U! i* T5 \7 Z3. Check the on/off cycle of the furnace, and flame of the furnace to make sure the furnace burns efficiently . ( need a professional people to look after)
