what if the inspector ask you to tear down part of the drywall to see the lines behind? this is not to scare him, rough-in inspection isn't the same as the final one. for rough-in, pretty much you can do it any time, pay the dues, then do the rest of the reno work. for final, it'll be case by case. if his basement was done by a certified electrician, then fine, maybe the city will give an easy pass for electrical... 1 j& G1 l) _; r- _
