Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
% R, d! j& ]( [/ ~- Supervise kitchen staff
' ^& V  }; H  W- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
0 m; ^  I5 a& _% [3 K9 ?' D& [& z- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
* c& p# x: e6 D0 ]( g% p- Manage kitchen operations
. w: S3 O. Z1 C$ @( \$ q- Maintain acceptable levels of food production

- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
! s4 N; \" A) ?# U  f- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.

Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
