Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

: b3 x% T4 N. X- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
" b. J9 v$ \/ b" F- v6 P4 U- Supervise kitchen staff
3 `- h6 Y! Z$ g% T" G' J- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
( F- T5 T) L8 @+ V0 f- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
# `$ {, L% e% H1 f5 Q- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
1 n3 V# L% n: xRequirements:
9 p0 S( L# G2 A# i' E- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

0 t7 j/ s, ]/ S- X1 ]0 [1 UThis is a contract, full-time position.
3 _7 G- L* t* v% `. WWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
  O/ D) k5 ]" R- P9 XWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
8 W9 R( X8 n% o/ vSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
