In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
& p7 z3 V: L7 i) h/ V- f3 zAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
) R4 b0 v, O  jEngage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
8 @' L/ V1 _# ^/ mBe accountable for decision and actions
Mitigate risk to the organization.
Education:
% D1 q, H' j) J+ z( S3 [5 }
% d5 l5 q* }) GA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
6 c; R2 g: \* k3 r% n! u/ ^$ O" aExperience:

% C6 E$ Q3 n) S( J' A- t" q) _Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
, j4 |% t8 H5 U  I: |1 zSenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
3 g2 q1 a: ^1 N  P+ u; cMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
. J1 Z# W  Z7 N* MCenter objectives.
