As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:, k6 O, @4 W# }
; u; m& T: j$ j t4 J- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- W+ u, l8 v0 R- ^' E0 n: w' s; B* g- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
8 A4 P1 C* _3 }+ ^- ~0 `) z- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ) f2 U* L9 |6 g9 L/ Y
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 8 m7 G& G6 [! Q% n! g
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
4 C+ l. M- Z$ f O- g- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience ! o$ [2 W* j! s s" }" O
- Strong leadership skills
6 j9 {6 m0 }- G' j) B5 E- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- f/ f0 }, G% T5 K5 {- n- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 1 M% K3 f) H3 M3 ~2 h
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ! h7 ^9 z6 G! S
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
