" V4 H; z4 t$ G- f; q3 oAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
; S, H: k* F- H, |; n+ N8 c D! s3 R# {% U3 N. ^) O+ \2 W1 j
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 9 h) [4 q6 X3 q1 v
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. , ]' e' v4 B/ X# H% b
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
& P/ D6 ^0 d6 @6 L) O# W& ^- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. + Z* @1 j+ v5 N/ x$ p- a
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
( i( G1 C# u3 S& p6 f6 R- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience

- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 1 S! J% P( }& R0 J. L
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 8 i, A" z. `' E+ Q5 d1 J' w1 A
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
' Z) Y7 K# o: ^# Q/ M- H9 P1 W- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.1 g1 R Z: y* A" s" z z
