As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

9 k G8 t6 X. i! J& E/ P- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
1 _4 S% N5 j8 _5 p9 F/ @- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ; y4 Z. k7 u: }7 ]# p- T
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 1 D) B# ]! ]. W
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
( [) j7 [( e" G% r) K- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
1 V# a# f9 C# T- O- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). " D- f) y z3 G I" s e2 f

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience 0 I p1 U$ M3 b+ o% ~% R
- Strong leadership skills 2 t: r% g) s x( h1 T7 S
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ) J( E! F0 o# W- v# l
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 0 F; Z, H) t2 Y. Q3 S
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
# b$ x% Y& l. U5 n$ ~& G- n' g- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
