' q9 Q  ~- U1 S2 YFirst-time homebuyers in Edmonton will get a break. A unique, made-in-Edmonton program will put up to 1,000 new homes on the market and help ease Edmonton’s new home crunch.


Thanks to an exemption to the Municipal Government Act and the support of Edmonton City Council and the Edmonton-area school boards, the First-time Homebuyers Program will transform 20 unused school sites in city neighbourhoods into potential locations for new homes.
