support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern * o0 ^# U: M9 O) G0 ?+ v2 t- U

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the " Y! m1 t6 k- w
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
4 v' U, ~/ V+ v+ owell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
8 g) w) G! @% l' j- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
/ a; H+ l# ^5 x8 s. H4 e- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
# a; p: m7 u6 O! R& j7 f, O- Implement a catalogue template for future use
* ?; ?* c9 J; x- m3 V" z- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
' X% S4 z3 b2 i- R* k- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 7 a+ v8 r" |! g

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-
" m6 j/ u# ~3 U" a# c7 H. Osecondary training, university preferred % t0 x/ G: V/ ~4 A/ [8 I+ V+ L
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week + V+ R# @7 ]$ Q, c% P, z
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks 0 E0 k/ ~2 F! n1 K6 Y7 g8 w0 n# s

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ' O8 `( _' s- D, g* R; q5 m1 y
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ) B# t K' {" j L
- Strong organizational skills
