FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the 5 D9 \, C3 K6 w6 |# D) f; `
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
% x( `. W( E" y7 t/ }# y" {and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
+ d5 I* r9 b" X' F4 _: ^) J* Oresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

5 l$ Q$ u3 h5 M# kFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
% j4 F. Q0 h' S1 E Awell as the script, magazine and book library. + o' s5 q, l9 f6 W2 H( r

Duties:
; N& r1 f$ e$ j! b8 a/ R, u- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 1 h4 b; s7 E6 y6 i$ S
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
+ U2 ?4 s* l% B* X5 R- Implement a catalogue template for future use
( q$ G# s2 b- q9 `6 {+ e- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
) f5 s9 \. T( o& F) h; i% n- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 5 t4 F! D ?' m6 T- J

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
