Notes to the photographer

★ 2 identical photos, (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, 0 L. z/ p m9 `9 ^9 {

★the name of the photographer or the studio, the studio address and the date the photos were taken on the back of the photos.

) t( F4 Y# N2 i★show a full front view of the person's head centered in the middle of the photo;4 ]7 E! E: Y0 K0 ]
★have a plain white background;

★be produced on single weight matte paper.

Notes to the applicant
+ m; W* |4 j, k, O4 s1 n% X5 r, @★citizenship photos must have been taken within 12 months of the date of the application;
$ U/ G; W& _! U4 ]★do not wear a head covering unless you wear one because of your religion;
y) r+ j y/ \' ~1 `8 A. F U! e9 [★print the name of the person on the back of the photos;
9 c( s' ]1 }8 i6 ` k★adults and children 14 years of age and older must sign their name in black or blue ink in the white signature area below each' N3 X A* N! O
photo. Do not print. For children under 14 years of age, leave the signature strip blank and print the name of the child on the! @* T" } Z4 F& B& }

★put both signed photos in an envelope.
- O) {9 y3 a$ z: j5 b9 HDo not staple, glue or otherwise attach the photos directly to the application.

Note: In the case of a child under 12 months of age, photos do not need to meet the citizenship specifications.% B- g) N0 ?3 E
The photo must be of the child only and must clearly show the face of the child. The photos do not need& e9 y9 z- p' s5 s
to be signed or dated by a photographer.
