Notes to the photographer

★ 2 identical photos, (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, / O, F% J" s* P$ _0 n
or exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera;6 ^' y* X2 L [- D) i" H0 N L
★the name of the photographer or the studio, the studio address and the date the photos were taken on the back of the photos.

% i5 q2 H$ s6 ~- f" v% m★show a full front view of the person's head centered in the middle of the photo;" J( W7 m9 w4 M! M% }" z
★have a plain white background;) i( w. L- v; B( C9 K% Y
★a plain white signature strip (no more than 10mm and no less than 6mm deep) at the bottom;

★35mm x 53mm finished size;7 o4 u* Q" m) c; B0 k
★between 25mm and 35mm from chin to crown.& S2 s# A$ A2 h+ l# M1 n

★citizenship photos must have been taken within 12 months of the date of the application;9 B. [, h4 F! S( i- a
★do not wear a head covering unless you wear one because of your religion; 4 X' |/ |/ Y/ a7 X
★print the name of the person on the back of the photos; ( {4 s. S: H4 t/ |; \2 h
★adults and children 14 years of age and older must sign their name in black or blue ink in the white signature area below each8 i7 j4 {0 l2 s
photo. Do not print. For children under 14 years of age, leave the signature strip blank and print the name of the child on the

★put both signed photos in an envelope.

Applicants 14 years of age and over must sign within the white signature strip below each photo.
( I# e/ n1 A4 ]" C" gFor applicants under 14 years of age leave signature strip blank. Parent must NOT sign child's photo.
& E$ {0 m( v, j$ B5 F! o* TNote: In the case of a child under 12 months of age, photos do not need to meet the citizenship specifications.
+ c$ w8 Q+ A9 a8 oThe photo must be of the child only and must clearly show the face of the child. The photos do not need
