   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

# W# @( ]  D% z3 m% P! ]  a We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

  M# w# Y' V! o1 n" [# O* N The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.

2 K2 K  i0 s9 e/ nResponsibilities will include:
•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
  s- K, h7 C9 D& g- _+ b0 `•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
( a8 o" k. L' Y* h' Z5 k& O  F•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
8 h' l3 [9 c, }" N' ~9 @7 w7 T8 c0 y•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
•Keep work area clean.

•Basic English communication skills
•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools

•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
! Z& i7 l* o: s6 e  m' t•Ability to work under constant pressure
) V" g5 i* L" l) N•Willing to do multi tasks when needed as member of the team
* {& {  p- m4 S0 l  _. K8 _•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Offload sealed units from GED Oven press

: p8 q2 x* g+ p& ~* j, Y•Hot melt super spacer units
•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines

Primary Qualifications Required:
