Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

" j" B3 W; s# W The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.
# e% }  H5 t" t6 b1 x, h! _
0 h1 z" C" B/ N6 `, aResponsibilities will include:
4 M, ]) J5 e' Z) A( f# Y/ l•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
0 ?* K0 M/ e* ?1 R( S+ I•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
& k1 R' d' q2 O( w# B•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
•Keep work area clean.
( ^! I  f4 ^4 }, _, W% w% N•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.
& W& ~- z4 x9 n% d( ?: c" W+ D
Primary Qualifications Required:
•Basic English communication skills
, f1 d9 A0 W/ P* f$ K% G* p- \•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
# z6 q1 v6 Z1 ^•Good eye sight.
& }4 ^/ m( M& F4 l•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
( i# }, [" R1 E, V4 N•Ability to work under constant pressure
•Willing to do multi tasks when needed as member of the team
•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Patch units
•Hot melt super spacer units
•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines
