No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.; L' |% ?2 n- ?7 q( Z
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. 8 T$ p& q, r x/ c8 ^+ @
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
