No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night./ \4 w. M6 F- b& w" p
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. 0 ]! |5 ^$ t2 _0 w/ \
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
