Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
* C/ @" t0 {! e( w- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
( Q- |, _2 l: k0 n( P( r- Supervise kitchen staff
; ]8 o* C4 L0 @" F/ O7 b- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
$ W- {3 ]% t5 M6 z/ `+ E- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
* F0 H9 _' y) C- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
2 V/ P9 D( u. e& X8 Q. k4 r- Work night shifts, as necessary
1 I( M8 g1 A/ @Requirements:
9 @  i/ Q& N" r1 |6 k; `* Q1 w2 p- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

# S7 o% ~8 _2 A5 YThis is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
' Y3 J& a9 n& W4 j+ l1 F2 s3 tWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
