The Ministry of Children's Services provides financial assistance to eligible lower-income families using:

Approved family day homes
Licensed out-of-school care centres
Licensed pre-schools and

; [9 ~& ^% O- K& lMaximum subsidy rates vary by program type and the age of child attending child care.

4 V4 o4 T6 q) ^5 R& ]+ IYou can apply for a subsidy if:

You or your spouse/partner, or the child receiving care are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and live in Alberta.
You or your spouse/partner are an Alberta resident.
2 P8 K: x8 h. U! TYour children are 12 years of age or younger and are not yet attending Grade 7.
You and your spouse/partner are currently working, attending school, looking for work or have special needs
OR
You or your spouse/partner stay-at-home and have your child(ren) enrolled in a licensed pre-school or approved early childhood development program.

低收入有一个数目。今天早晨听 cbc ，两个女士都有不错的工作，也可以领。我觉着我们对政府定义的低收入还把握不准。

查了一下： net income of less than $42,255 per year

a person earns wages of $1,000, and $300 in deductions are taken from his paycheck. His gross income is $1,000 and his net income is $700.

根据这个定义，应该不少人可以属于低收入。

42255/12 = 3518
如果夫妻存入银行的月工资少于这个数目，就属于低工资。
