The Ministry of Children's Services provides financial assistance to eligible lower-income families using:

Licensed day care centres

# A' |- G- Q' TApproved family day homes
Licensed out-of-school care centres
2 V9 `7 ^# {& dLicensed pre-schools and

Maximum subsidy rates vary by program type and the age of child attending child care.

You can apply for a subsidy if:

You or your spouse/partner, or the child receiving care are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and live in Alberta.
1 q2 m! r7 f! c4 V- {8 C; u% EYou or your spouse/partner are an Alberta resident.
6 M, M2 W' n4 W* p* TYour children are 12 years of age or younger and are not yet attending Grade 7.
1 X9 H* f9 i8 [) j6 a% WYou and your spouse/partner are currently working, attending school, looking for work or have special needs
9 ~5 ^  t3 C* o" ?5 `OR
You or your spouse/partner stay-at-home and have your child(ren) enrolled in a licensed pre-school or approved early childhood development program.

低收入有一个数目。今天早晨听 cbc ，两个女士都有不错的工作，也可以领。我觉着我们对政府定义的低收入还把握不准。

不过如果年薪十几万以上的，肯定没有必要申请

查了一下： net income of less than $42,255 per year

a person earns wages of $1,000, and $300 in deductions are taken from his paycheck. His gross income is $1,000 and his net income is $700.

) X5 D+ h& s1 g& `- O! `, P6 Q根据这个定义，应该不少人可以属于低收入。

如果夫妻存入银行的月工资少于这个数目，就属于低工资。
