As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:# m8 |2 o2 O+ e% X7 }) G$ T
! {' C! e+ Q4 u6 a* O) }8 @- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 7 ^1 L$ _4 z J7 k1 {) c7 o: b
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ; d$ p# I' l, S7 H& L
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. & p2 _8 H) F' f5 ~4 t; r T% E
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
0 K6 q+ I+ B$ o. @- J$ L) t- L# U- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 9 D& _% f$ q% {8 d( \9 B
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience / E, T5 ^) }- N, l( k" b
- Strong leadership skills
8 r V+ `3 x( O- s) Y# k- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 9 R( W7 X! Y0 W3 y& l1 T
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 7 [7 O- i$ C" [" a) N: J/ q
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 7 U7 x1 D6 K( H
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* e$ C# O) I' ^$ d# Z
