As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:1 p o4 i) ~3 M& j( U3 r4 ]; p2 R! H" a
. m( V$ R4 t& f2 S3 w
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
& j! l4 \" n2 c9 u+ X' j+ {0 r+ ]- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. , l/ Z6 Z5 D# t5 }
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
7 S0 e! |# f! v7 v- |- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& m/ W4 g0 v0 r- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ( D p& ]8 r B- u% D& O Z4 E
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience ) N5 w* C1 J: ^
- Strong leadership skills 7 e' M! j9 d4 `6 N7 b! Q4 T4 B" `8 o$ F
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma * I" K6 g. {' i0 `
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
2 Y# Q: \! Y% s# Y/ H0 I- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
2 j8 l% p8 q: N- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
