Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and! }! |9 @4 ?( b/ Z' E% _
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft1 H q! A8 W; d( w! U# C- R& {! y
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.* m' E* z+ g2 D& J$ z: F% s
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the' p8 d$ R* X: G
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.2 p9 g2 k; h4 Q
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
: R. z# P' j8 L* zvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
& p2 ? j: Q/ A: ~6 Vpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening., W5 \; R @2 g8 G! t
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
. A7 ^& b4 Z) m% `them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late% B9 Q+ n) p3 O1 u8 U+ F' W& Z( x
hours are part of this crew’s duties. D) l: i3 I3 b) G9 O
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the o# X3 i) W% S$ T# r$ W3 m
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide1 [; V& D9 e8 B2 E% V' O
programs to visitors to the festival.) W2 Y+ F# b- I0 F$ Y& _. }% ?
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
8 t, R, x+ v" Q& j2 Q3 _everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.# [, w. ~! X5 M/ i3 }! p" S1 n5 g! B( E
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed, L& b6 b. e) E5 L5 c, ]4 \
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the. V* Q( j9 a6 G2 w# `- i

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
2 s. x/ {+ m6 l1 ^operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you( @8 j; t, J3 V+ Z( P" L/ z+ Q. v+ s
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.$ \3 {& }4 ]: S1 |8 e
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training8 B h G9 B/ x+ V& y, z5 g3 N
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
: G8 d0 ^4 [" B& ~* c$ XTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be) J- a6 R0 {; \2 }7 ^5 @6 B$ {
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
8 S9 \& v# n, x& Y: fairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
. _ n$ T, D/ Q% e7 G( Fstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
