Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

. p% |2 W3 V2 O# A& eBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
5 D. s0 J9 b3 {6 `2 m1 G0 e, J' O9 wwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
1 ]" M5 N" r% k* M1 rprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.5 H. c9 Q$ J5 `1 F
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
! B- O, d0 {; \$ Lartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
8 q2 ~) T& p3 @$ s! `Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for9 g2 _' Q+ ~) b$ h) A
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
4 n' W+ s5 N2 _+ M5 arecyclables./ s2 t7 X4 X! o8 {* a( C3 Y. C
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
) o+ h r8 z/ G9 bpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
7 e" c3 c m$ N! m- E6 QHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing: q( x+ k5 W% t! A3 ?' u+ N _
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
7 [' ^6 J) F4 O W; vhours are part of this crew’s duties.
. U0 U* f' r' L* a) RInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the) M( j/ m& p* P U. @1 |1 q* g: F+ q
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide; O6 P6 j$ `5 z" A$ G- l
programs to visitors to the festival.6 b ?0 P/ c' E6 ]1 f8 f- v
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
7 e/ C5 l+ I! y4 _& K& n( ^- heveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
" k, d. U0 m6 ~ \: OOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed- A% {7 a# h0 L' k+ j& ^
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the! Y6 |: z9 w* K. c) x
festival.- B) J7 a0 t6 a& G7 X
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
- z$ l& g7 r* R, e' x* e Boperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you1 o3 T' Z6 w) Z" s0 C f1 a
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
4 [) f+ t2 J3 H: L! J" rStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training1 Z" O/ J k2 S) ? N% J0 ]9 C/ |
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
8 @9 @4 C/ d& L* q. d' `Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be0 W- C) K& o1 g4 R( O
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
0 o- ~+ K* f4 V& P4 f" ^airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival3 F8 I+ ~4 ~8 z; j
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
