Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the. ^; C3 W/ R! Q1 f" X
festival.9 h1 _- R, N) u( }- B
Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and% x m; C& }0 y. j" o! R: h
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
6 U7 e# y5 A. L- A+ {prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up./ a3 S+ d! Y4 F2 m+ C1 v
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the; o0 E* f7 }4 s# z6 [1 s* i
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
6 b% q' l- l l& YEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for6 d- k' G1 @3 X7 w8 k% E
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the' g, h( R/ _ V* J/ ]' s% W; w
recyclables.
3 f; u7 Z; o4 Z6 \" Q$ Z. ZFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
: K# f6 U3 u9 c. i2 Gpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.. H4 y8 d% W+ v
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
6 m, D3 v7 Y& ?4 y3 q4 t. Pthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late: V; f" A; ]% h7 U7 x
hours are part of this crew’s duties. j9 Z2 Y" u9 s- W( B
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
U, a* H4 i$ L- wfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide" {6 n" V; k% X& v9 s
programs to visitors to the festival.3 E* g8 Z/ \2 Z$ S8 [, X* s
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
( A' a8 w0 v4 aeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
/ `* c4 \8 `& UOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed) ~- k& d" d7 q+ {- t* q( y; A9 B
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is1 R* q3 E# y1 P' C
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
% D" W1 x4 e" w# N' _& |; `! iare physically fit and ready for any emergency.. g& @0 z, p' T6 L3 u& `1 r( ^
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
2 V# @7 L& L$ V4 _& Z! [. rand/or understanding of back stage procedures.1 X5 Q9 B9 q: m2 {; x2 G: A0 g% a
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
- H6 z2 V# N/ S! W! K @& vrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as: n1 \5 Y4 y6 q" g! O
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
2 p1 i) u; N( n' |! `4 I1 V$ Bstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
