Really want to save some gas money you may have to check the followings:
7 C8 \2 d% G2 r7 ]1. The thermostat settings. Set the temperature as low as you still feel ok. say 16 degree?
4 M& D/ U( ]+ n& _0 X9 h2. Close the vents near the entrance door and garage door, vents in the bathrooms.  
2 c* ?& Q5 q, y7 `2 q& W3. Check the on/off cycle of the furnace, and flame of the furnace to make sure the furnace burns efficiently . ( need a professional people to look after)
