Edmonton — Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead in a west-end apartment yesterday morning.

Ambulance personnel were called to the building at 9023 184 St. at around 4:20 a.m., found the body of a 50-year-old woman inside one of the suites, and called police.8 U1 r2 w1 T" F2 G' Q

Investigators have not released the cause of death, but are calling the death suspicious.# Q+ u6 z% s0 |4 D

Police say the address is known to west division officers, who have responded to the suite several times in the past for family-related disturbances.

“My granddaughter is 20 and is scared to go out,” Joan Harvey said while visiting her relative yesterday afternoon. “I’m scared for her.”
