The whole COMPLAIN day in FM....pay attention to each penny !!

ISSUE ONE: CRA........."WAIT"9 @, r4 H; _% o

  z" m9 R( }- J/ w4 O1 S9 D- M. AIn the early morning,phone CRA to ask "whether university health insurance charge to international student can be counted as expense ?" .THE receiver told me "WAIT,call this number:1-800-959-8281"..Then i phoned it.They took more than 10 minutes to discuss my question,said:"WAIT,this number may help:1-800-267-5177".Then i jumped to another number again.I want to confirm my new address here,they said"why not confirm from the tax center?" i said there is no contact method online(St John's).They said"WAIT"Then came back without any phone number:"it took couples of days.You may check two or three weeks later."I got shock"i mailed them last week."Still the word:"WAIT"............................$ ?: Y% }& V* h
: Y! C0 l) o& @. x  }+ G
OK,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WAIT....................

9 Z! h6 j! v2 G! r$ G' j2 C3 |" K- L$ kISSUE TWO:FIDO.......

! R/ f6 W0 }4 W+ J$ n, b( bIt is a serious problem that what their customer services said are not the same.Once i moved in and needed to change a new number,they said"NO CHARGE".How ever,i was so angry that "THEY CHARGED ON MY BILL".i phoned them and they modified.MY GOD.

% s" A& \0 r' v& GStill now.some customer services said:I am using Edmonton service.But some said i am using Fort Mcmurray.Actually ,before getting the BILL,they did not tell me the fact that there is NO FIDO network provided here.So there is no point that i can benefits from the unlimitted incoming here unless i pay extra fee to enter the ROGER net work.MY GOD.I WILL NEVER TRUST FIDO ANYMORE.

ISSUE THREE:UPS

$ Y# ~5 e- t3 J" JTODAY I WAIT AT HOME FROM early 9:00 am till 8:00pm for my package delivery fromUPS.However,there is no news from them.This is the reason why i cannot go to BIBIL STUDY.This is the second time i wait for the whole day.
: q, b+ u/ T1 H7 E" R  _2 \' u
3 v+ _/ E) p( g& t: R7 XLast week:They phoned me and said"The service hour is 9am to 5pm."Then i waited till almost 5:15pm.Then ran to find friends upstairs,however i got a notice at 6pm when i was back.WHAT THE HELL!I phoned UPS,they said"WE OFFICIALLY WORK TILL 8pm"OK......
; t+ {7 r% d: N9 C4 L/ R$ S" G$ D( ?1 a5 H" z+ N
TODAY,i wait for the whole day and even phone them at 7pm.Let us see what their explaination:

at 7pm,a customer representative said:YOUR PACKAGE HAS SCANNED AND ON THE WAY....................SO where is it????????????PLease be honest!!!!!+ r2 ~/ i4 K- E( ~: I

$ \8 X2 u: W+ u0 H8 R; n" z6 D0 T1 Hat 8pm,i did not receive anything.They told me:SORRY.WE RESCHEDULED.BUT THEY DID NOT REPLY.I was extremely angry " i checked the package from UPS,i do not care your internal issue.UPS needs to take responsibility.I need to talk with supervisor!" They are a little more serious.EVEN IF THEY TOOK MY PHONES AND GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME ON MONDAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.i am really disappointed..................cannot wait crying.
+ m( L3 z+ K6 u5 y2 z; V% i% ?0 t2 s: Z4 g& K" }4 v4 T
ISSUE FOUR:BMO
' v& W% N8 X/ S$ r/ I' F" A2 v/ g3 U
BMO is the sad ending for today.They charge me 25 dollars for my statement  balance  is more than  my credit limit on Feb.18th.I  REALLY did not know there is such a rule on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another surprising part is ,i asked "IS 18th the specific date to check the statement balance?" He said"WAIT " and YES in couples of minutes.COOL.i learn so many things new in the whole day!!!!* N' n; ?# B( }

I really learn so much NEW today...................

( ]0 Q) ?: o0 J+ q& UHOPE EVERYone can save each penny in the dangerous society............MY GOD!

UPS and Purolator

我從Florida搬來的時候,也是用UPS。1 x& v# a! ~3 Y7 t/ i7 q7 R
所有UPS的良好時間規定,在這邊都不管用。/ C" X$ W" c% Q# H3 J# u7 F
因為UPS在這邊是subcontract to purolator (不知道有沒有拼錯!)' G5 V; g% H, s/ S+ _
剛搬來的時候天天在家裡查行李狀況,等行李,結果等了幾天,也沒有人過來。所以打電話給UPS,結果UPS總說不清楚狀況。明明東西就是在Ft Mcmurray,還可以跟我講在Edmonton or其他的答案!
; P# z2 E6 \/ ~" i. @7 q7 T也有請UPS再遞送一次。UPS理論上就請Purolator再遞送一次!
' Y) i: L. i$ x8 i! w7 [再等一週,結果還是沒有事情發生。剛來時,根本也不知道什麼purolator7 c$ P, W4 G" M/ A. c$ {
後來是問了另外一家快遞公司,才知道UPS在這邊subcontract給purolator
, A/ G! L6 r3 F1 {有一天上班的時候,剛好看到purolator的卡車,就在那邊等driver問狀況
% K' c5 x5 S8 P: QDriver說他們身上沒有電話的,所以你一定要在家等。他叫我最快的方式是自己過去他們公司拿。我有15箱東西,我自己根本搬不動。但是後來發現UPS跟本無法讓purolator再送我的東西到我家。
% b" \( X6 G7 P4 x" _5 [: u/ N% I  Q/ E
最後我自己去他們公司搬了兩、三箱。看到很多箱子的狀況都是很慘烈,裡面的東西也是!  c; ^' S* v0 p0 l8 O& `- w
(箱子是跟UPS買的喔!) 然後讓同事開著公司的truck再繼續把我所有的東西搬回來。
( Z% @+ }5 Q5 m8 B再剛來的時候發生這種事情真的是夢魘。因為想要找人幫忙也找不到人?
3 W# ~$ p' d1 B- q6 {0 @& L  ^& e: |# u
在那時候我瞭解到一件事情
9 U2 k0 `, N# v0 R% C! e2 U就是這邊的郵寄服務是一個nightmare# Z  D1 y/ ~' z7 c$ `7 r6 \3 d+ F7 q
這件事情,應該大家都有經驗吧!0 u$ ~' g1 `& S, _: j
對我來說,這是在Ft. Mcmurray最不好的經驗了!/ J( m0 ~, K2 \& ?- G/ n1 O
不過,話說回來,之後寄東西或是收東西,我就也習慣東西會晚到,所以也就是等!
6 K( E2 H' C1 k3 a! A日子總是要過的嘛!天天哭也是過日子,天天笑也是在過日子。! ]/ J: p: I) I# T' F* K) L
所以我還是選擇天天笑的過日子好了!

1 w/ r) Y$ b2 y+ P. M4 R7 {( o( Y但是我還蠻想要問問,如果要寄東西,哪裡的服務會比較ok?

在网上购物后,隔天查电子邮件order就被取消了,因为是FM没有办法delivery。。。

Call UPS customer service and ask for compensation,  you may get some of your shipping fee back./ `, w7 D4 P( [3 s* z( F
Last year I ordered a set of winter tires from the US and used Fedex to ship them, it costed more than $300USD, the shipment was delayed for more than a week, so I called Fedex and complained, they explained that Fort McMurray is a "remote area" and blah blah blah. But they finally agreed to give me full refund for the shipping fee. Saved $300.:)

忐忑不安的等待着nightmare coming。。。等UPS送笔记本电脑ing$ W/ n% ?1 y2 s7 y+ C
  u1 v3 w0 \" x( q$ I) w! ?
不过上次在dell网购后,purolator的delivery还可以,没有耽误。
