summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
5 R1 S6 J# W. y, z- e! b# sFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as : d0 Q1 m+ m U3 ], k4 y
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ! Y, z) M9 n! R$ G; v! C1 ]
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ) V8 W$ j2 W5 u3 I6 \. ?9 L
- Implement a catalogue template for future use

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ' Y% j2 T0 F1 R6 e
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ! H8 V+ M5 ?* s' w) w
- Strong organizational skills ' n. l: P$ d/ V |/ x# h7 P
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred # ~$ B. z8 T6 ~" M& P8 Z6 ~
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
