# r/ \- h9 i# t5 J2 W3 w# \summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
) u3 o$ r, m+ j) U( Rsupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

2 `- Z" K6 C% Y9 H; r% kFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 0 p5 C! J2 W# e8 x6 I# e3 o
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
c7 P( i! B: l& ^% W! l. Hscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
6 t" z( q0 a+ d! o) A1 FFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 2 \$ B4 a2 r9 {0 H( Q- u
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: ( _5 s7 v* P [- s# L
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
/ O7 R& b! o( v6 A0 O8 ~/ Z- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
) T: {* q, [3 P* `- h# \- Implement a catalogue template for future use 0 V6 `2 E( r; B4 F+ P3 p. n
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ) f* f1 |% i' f
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 1 N; ?4 b& `) J. A: e% N

- Strong team player abilities
