This year, the convenience-store chain is celebrating its 87th birthday with a full week of freebies, starting Friday, by giving away millions of its signature sugary drink to customers.( Y. E. This is the 12th year that the Dallas-based retailer has offered free Slurpees on its birthday. To receive each day's free offer, customers must download and register on the 7-Eleven app to obtain a barcode, the company said. The customer will receive the free item as they check out. But you're in luck, the app isn't required to get a free Slurpee on Friday, July 11.- u! J* p( N. N, m7 k; ?9 L
