& ^0 }* a' [& v9 x/ w" C1 Q' i An ATV crash in western Manitoba has left a woman dead and a man, who was knocked into spillway, missing and presumed drowned. CBC's Nelly Gonzalez reports.

An ATV crash in western Manitoba has left a woman dead and a man, who was knocked into spillway, missing and presumed drowned.+ c3 T6 Z8 S! T! k" p k! s
+ p- U$ ]/ H9 x% kAccording to RCMP, a 58-year-old woman tried to drive an ATV down an embankment by the Rivers Reservoir spillway, just before 8:30 p.m. on July 12.' X: F6 B. o% M$ X8 [" N% A

She lost control of the machine and hit a 39-year-old man, who was fishing. The woman, from the town of Rivers, was pronounced dead at the scene.+ ~: V; v8 X% _
; V. k9 P2 n2 I5 s7 z. _The man, from Brandon, was knocked into the fast-moving water and disappeared. Rescue efforts failed to locate the man, who is presumed drowned.

$ f* Q8 R2 R2 @2 {0 dSearch efforts and the investigation into the incident are both ongoing, RCMP said.
