C- OThe impact of Ralph's cut is that a great number of government services were contracted out, and the government ends up paying more to buy those similar services at higher prices. The same thing happened to our gas and other utility bills. All the above said, there is inefficiency in the public sectors just as inefficiency can also be found in private sectors.

Watch out for this round of wage cut. I can anticipate that people will pay more user-based fees. For example, university tuition and fees will be going up.

我不反对加税，全国就alberta没有。地税也可以适当提高。

错，跟有没有竞争力没半毛钱关系。私有化医疗系统绝对只是个政治问题，99%的加拿大人认为health care is an entitlement not a servive. Healthcare privatization is politically incorrect in canada and 永远是票房毒药。我倒是支持public and private mix, 在这方面alberta已经比其他省份走的远不少了，但你没看政客做事的时候还是半遮半掩的怕反对党炒作吗？
