Yosemite is the latest IOS that requires high resources. My Macbook pro responds slowly after I updated to Yosemite. Then I decide to downgrade it to Mavericks or even snow leopard.7 c1 i$ A) T3 ?: V2 w& i

It turned out difficult although I have rich experience installing IOS. But finally I erased the hard drive and installed Mavericks. I would like to share my experience to those who may encounter the same problem. 0 k3 j. ?2 z; ^& w

In the past, I had never encountered the problem of not being able to erase the hard drive. It turned out that Yosemite is different because it turned on the file Vault. First of all, this has to be turned off. Secondly the HD has to be unmounted. You need use the terminal to type "diskutil cs list", copy the first volume, and then "diskutil unmount XXXX" XXXX is the number of the hard drive.
