昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

8 x6 `! D- }8 r* ^% _6 oOn March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor
+ f* L/ R9 b% o: w$ F, X7 pmark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.

6 ~4 a2 O5 X9 K/ VThe increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
8 l! w7 e4 r& S; R; D, c+ ?1 Mproducts from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’* q/ n; _" q, m/ I8 ?
gates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
/ ~" A, `8 [/ { _+ m% a8 i9 @ Jlitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature, j9 a) p1 O$ f! g
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that) k( t0 I) A) n/ L" q
are among the lowest in the country.; T3 D, B) z6 ?$ n5 z

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:5 H) [ F; Z+ r$ _2 A
· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.
