Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
( G, Q3 X, r" I' o8 H0 vWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
7 M* ]) D( u% S) ]' O2 C•        Prepare corporate tax returns
7 }. ~+ p0 H3 h& I$ a•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
4 o. Z, b! w, p•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

/ [( R8 K% b7 P1 w3 X6 [6 ~The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

* P: C3 p8 S: ]Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

9 L3 G( J& x( T( P. J- a. |不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

9 B  E( v7 h% \, G2 P4 v: N! M# r这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
