Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
$ Q+ ]  ]& v& _" z% i- m  {•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
, K8 X; [' Y9 J! }•        Prepare corporate tax returns
5 [: M4 \% R: m1 R& s•        File GST returns
8 w+ w4 n( {$ _4 Q: p•        Process payroll
7 j' Q4 F7 ?! \$ b( ^•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

5 I) V" y+ a% F, B( x1 JThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

2 r: i: A5 V# h; h- @; AConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

1 T6 V: C& ^% P) O9 V  I" @不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

- B' R6 W/ m# t: J* ~8 S0 S这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
