: m: w( ~. c* F$ ~As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

G2 Q+ @2 ~2 K! K- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
. J* `8 T" w2 Q0 y- k7 e$ G- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- S+ ^! y9 q+ n M* ?8 K2 p- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
/ m% [" v3 \2 |, d, r8 H3 G- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
8 V: O5 H/ p/ N3 m- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: x$ ~) I) H" Y; q% L8 {: n# v# x- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- i( G: d: j' f- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
' ?2 l9 K0 N7 \+ o+ P* M* q/ F
1 g0 k& L* ?* S% o6 n- Previous supervisory experience 1 |1 N5 k8 Y% k% ~( G1 t
- Strong leadership skills ' i- l( I. q( P' S1 a" A/ [# `
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma * \+ y+ h. R* J" o/ P
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills & l8 b0 A6 t, h+ S2 T
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
6 u' `! Y& J6 o. }1 k1 c! l$ q- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
