8 `3 w* v- p) [( D6 d0 IAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:# w" a7 f' D) Z, r8 j' C' Q( d& y
- \$ O' D, k5 @; Y* B: E- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
; F$ v5 l" X: S- G0 Z/ } u- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 6 F; w5 n0 G: B8 M9 p) R
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
' }) \/ x# [$ h. a3 ]- k- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& F8 f- ^- y9 k& J" c1 O. y' P- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. / H. ^/ B5 U6 S; ]
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). " m* B+ ^- i1 f8 G4 o( m
- Managing shift expense budgets. + R0 ?4 T$ K' |: g

- Previous supervisory experience
1 U" z- S& n( x4 L6 x- Strong leadership skills
8 w# O6 _! ]! M2 q1 \. F- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 4 T) Q" `$ e$ c: D* E- x+ `' H
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
: J% n; G" `% f5 w, K- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations , d0 w! B; E) `* d5 u8 n
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques./ S3 E* V4 U0 C) T. \ B
