As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:+ g7 e2 l/ S6 y7 }: d2 I
k+ ^) F. R2 E/ q
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
8 [. e+ z7 e, t2 z- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ! U7 ]' ^7 u, U+ l3 U2 c4 C3 c
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ( _) x) u. N( ^
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. + b S$ }+ J/ S9 e/ p
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ; s" B* j" Z! x- y7 ^! Q
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ! S+ A4 g" f9 i, _! U
- Managing shift expense budgets.

; Y# M1 Z) \* |* F# WExperience and Education Requirements& u. s/ w& P7 ~! O: f" `; j$ n
; ]" Q5 w. V0 j# h- Previous supervisory experience ; o; ?) d' x% l6 l0 `6 [
- Strong leadership skills
N" J7 ?' @+ u- J0 G; e- A minimum of grade 12 diploma & M6 }/ d% m' v
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
7 K, j& W7 ] [# r4 l, T4 q- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: B( S' K- N; \! M3 [- C1 q8 Y- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* ~8 s$ `2 N: |& f
