As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. . [# s5 R/ J7 R4 m+ r/ Y
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
" j0 _4 r5 b! U% J5 y- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
7 z+ M) {- S! Q! P$ @" t3 S, c- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. . B6 `" m+ W* V3 H9 Y6 ]
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
' ~) C' M3 @$ F- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience 4 v- l8 Y" U4 H: l1 R6 {, d
- Strong leadership skills / L% y" v, S& F9 L. X$ z4 J" y
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 3 Y+ O- [. n% q& C3 ?0 f
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
0 c" Q8 }, B- v6 z K" _- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: [+ C5 f+ Q; i4 ~9 V- `* k/ ?- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
