( c- B' s3 \2 B$ G* U D" HAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
: i M2 D7 n+ \5 O: R7 o$ J' `+ O( |0 f& F- b: b8 O$ f9 ]1 N) x; n
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. / a6 v& h# e! F$ A/ i
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
0 ~' ~4 H+ o- r1 Q! w- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 3 |: a* S, I9 O3 b. Q: m
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
e& s$ I, W7 t9 |, m, {/ G- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
_- a' k# g: Z- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 1 A- `! _, z* u, L3 g6 c
- Managing shift expense budgets.

( V8 P n1 a7 W% f+ Z( j- Previous supervisory experience 5 f. x; u, w# Y5 f
- Strong leadership skills
5 _- S& e9 L8 N& R+ t& m) j- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
; i7 t. S3 k5 p- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 9 @: B& q' [# E! ]$ a; s
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
. t. I M r. N6 T8 B* Q- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.0 t4 b+ g; C; |9 V/ q; m# M
